Hey. I've been here for a little while and I'll be the first to admit, I don't know what the fuck I'm doing. I know they've got me living down in Shantytown for now but I've got to get a job if I'm gonna keep surviving out here and I guess this is a combination job application and general "explain this place because I wanna get out of it."

( Bucky isn't the sort to complain about accommodations and he doesn't care about being in Shantytown over anywhere else - he can sleep anywhere - but he definitely cares about having a job. He's not the kinda guy to sit idle and he definitely doesn't want to make a living stealing and living hand-to-mouth like he had to in Romania. He had a good thing going in New York and now it looks like it's been ripped away from him. It wouldn't be the first time - the Blip is not something anyone can forget - but it's the first time he's living it. )

Anyone got any advice or am I flying solo?

The lovely and wonderful Shantytown. What about you? We could meet up. I haven't seen you in a while for...reasons.

I'm just leaving work. Have you eaten? I live in the tower, we could eat there or go out.

Nah, I haven't eaten anything. I'll meet you over by the tower and we can decide there?

Sure. I'll be there in a second.

(Steve speeds up slightly in order to make it to the front of his building. He stops and looks around.)

( It doesn't take him long to get there, considering just how fast he can move, and Steve's easy to spot. )

Steve, God, I haven't seen you in the longest. It'll take a lot to explain but...I've missed you.

[waypastasking]

Hey... I missed you too.

(He starts to draw him into a hug but is hesitent.)

I've got nothing but time these days.

( Maybe Steve is hesitant to hug him but Bucky isn't so he reaches forward to do just that. )

That's...probably the best thing I've heard in a long time. Like I said, I've missed the hell out of you.
