[The camera angle isn't the most flattering, hinting that the tired looking young man isn't too used to camera phones.]
Hi. My name's Leon Kennedy. I'm new. I know a handful of people here are new too but some have been here before. I guess, I'm hoping to talk to a few people who are returning about the things you know about this place. Talking over this thing is fine but I'd prefer to meet in person.
Anyone who's returning who'd be alright meeting in person, I'll throw a drink on me into the deal. Your choice, beer or coffee.

Action
[ His tone curt and right to the point.
True to his word, Herbert was waiting at the café. Already in a booth with some coffee. The waitress knew he was waiting on someone. Time may have passed, but he used to be a regular here a few years back, and this was just normal. So Leon would be led over and offered a drink when he arrived.
The short scientist was writing in a notebook on the table, while he waited. His coffee ignored for now. ]

He steps inside the coffee place, spotting the stranger he's meeting, and finds a server first. The server begins to immediately guide him to the table but he stalls and makes sure to arrange to pay the man's bill before he heads over to join him.]
Hey, sorry I'm early. I appreciate you agreeing to meet with me.

He looked up when Leon spoke. Not really smiling but not glaring either, he motioned to the other seat. ] No problem at all, I see you are like me, the earlier, the better.
[ Nothing set him off more than being late. ] It is no concern at all, My name is Herbert West, this is my second time here.

@BigBootsD
Because most of those answers are ~Magic~.

Whatever you know that you wouldn't mind telling me about.
[She'd gotten his hopes up, now he doesn't look too impressed.] Magic. Right.
I guess, I need to clarify - serious answers only.

You've.. How new are you, Leon? This your.. your first skip over the ponds of bullshit, let me know how hungry I should come for something to drink.
no subject
The truth is good.
I just got here. It's been a few days. I'm guessing this is a return trip for you?
[He tilts his head slightly.] How hungry?
Uh, you said tea, right? Do you know a place?

[That answer though sounded like Leon was fresh off his first ride on the interdimensional bus. She would try to be gentle.]
I can be there in five minutes, but I understand if it will take you longer.

Leon ends the call and spends a minute looking the restaurant up. It seems easy enough to get to. Unsurprisingly though, she beats him there. He spots her easily enough after walking in, making his way over to the table she's at.]
Hey. Thanks for agreeing to meet.

Hi. I think, I'd prefer in person. ...Dust? Maybe I could help? [He's put together a bookcase before.]

[She hadn't said anything about coffee but he still grabs some, hoping she'll like whatever fancy Frappuccino he picked out for her, and heads to the spot pinned on his map. The sign outside does say Flour Power and, just like she said, the place looks like it'd been closed for some time.
He tries the door, letting himself in but he doesn't immediately spot her. Perhaps she's in the back.] Hello? It's Leon. We spoke over the network.
no subject
His entrance into Flour Power is signaled by the bells hanging on the door. She can hear them in the back where she is busy working. ]
I'll be right there.
[ She calls and a few moments later she appears. She smiles at him as she walks around the counter to greet him properly. ]
Hello. Glad you were able to find the place alright.

[He looks around the place, aside from a bit of dust, it looks really nice and the big windows by the door let in a nice amount of natural light.
He offers her a smile when she steps out of the back and holds up the coffee he'd brought her.] Yeah, wasn't too hard. I wasn't sure what you liked, I think it's something caramel.
[He gives her another smile, this one apologetic.] So, what can I help with? The place looks pretty good already.
